What are Performance Gummies?

Performance Gummies combine three ingredients in one chewable gummy.

Tadalafil, a prescription medicine that relaxes blood vessels and increases blood flow. It is FDA-approved, as Cialis and generics, to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and an enlarged prostate.

L-arginine, an amino acid the body uses to make nitric oxide, which helps blood vessels widen.

Taurine, an amino acid found in many sports and energy products.

They are more than workout gummies. For most men, the main reason to take them is performance in the bedroom.

How do Performance Gummies help with sexual performance?

Tadalafil helps men get and keep an erection by increasing blood flow to the penis when they are sexually aroused. It does not cause arousal on its own. Its effects can last up to 36 hours, which is why tadalafil is often called "the weekend pill": you do not have to time a dose right before sex. Many men find that longer window gives them more confidence and less pressure.

ED can be an early sign of heart disease, diabetes or low testosterone. That is why Dr. Eileen reviews your health before prescribing, and may suggest labs or a testosterone evaluation.

Why do some patients take them before a workout?

Some patients take a gummy 30 to 60 minutes before training because tadalafil increases blood flow, and L-arginine and taurine are common pre-workout ingredients. Patients describe a stronger "pump" and more visible veins. Tadalafil is not FDA-approved to improve exercise performance, and research does not show that it builds strength or endurance.

Why a gummy instead of a pill?

No pills to swallow; they are easy to take and taste like a gummy.

Discreet and portable, so there is no awkward routine.

Made with non-GMO, gluten-free ingredients.

Tadalafil, L-arginine and taurine in one dose.

Who should not take Performance Gummies?

Do not take tadalafil if you use nitrate medicines (such as nitroglycerin) or riociguat, because the combination can drop your blood pressure dangerously low. Tell Dr. Eileen about heart problems, low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, and any use of alpha-blockers or other ED medicines. Tadalafil can cause dizziness, which is more likely if you drink alcohol, are dehydrated, or train hard in the heat.

Side effects and warning signs

Common side effects include headache, flushing, indigestion, stuffy nose and back or muscle aches.

How much do Performance Gummies cost?

Pricing is the same at both offices and depends on the strength and quantity prescribed. Payment plans are available through Cherry, CareCredit and Klarna; contact the office about the Klarna option.

Your questions, answered.

Are Performance Gummies only for workouts?

No. Their main ingredient, tadalafil, is an FDA-approved ED medicine, and most men use them for sexual performance. Some patients also take them before workouts.

Do Performance Gummies help with ED?

Tadalafil, the main ingredient, is FDA-approved to treat erectile dysfunction. The gummy itself is compounded and not FDA-approved. Dr. Eileen will tell you whether it fits you.

How long do they last?

Tadalafil's effects can last up to 36 hours.

How many can I take?

No more than one gummy a day, following your prescription.

Are these the same as Cialis?

They contain tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialis, plus L-arginine and taurine, in a compounded gummy.

Can I choose the red or blue gummy myself?

No. Dr. Eileen chooses the strength based on your health and medicines.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. They contain tadalafil, so a consultation is required.

Can I take them with another ED medicine?

No, not unless Dr. Eileen tells you to. Combining these medicines raises the risk of side effects.

Also worth exploring.
