The Rejuvenation Bar offers NAD+ three ways: small at-home injections under the skin, in-office shots, and IV infusions that take about 4 hours. Most patients choose at-home injections. All three options are available at both our Miami (Kendall) and North Providence, RI offices.

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell. Your cells use it to turn food into energy and to repair DNA. NAD+ levels tend to fall with age, which is why it draws interest for energy and healthy aging. That biological role, on its own, does not prove that NAD+ treatment improves energy, focus or longevity; human research is still early.
Most patients use at-home injections with a small insulin-type syringe. Patients who do not like needles can come in for their shot instead; some add it to their weekly weight loss visit.
| At-home injections | In-office shots | IV infusion | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it is given | Small injection under the skin | Small injection under the skin | Through a vein |
| Time | A minute | A short visit | About 4 hours |
| Where | At home, after training | Either office | Either office |
| Good for | Regular dosing during the week | Patients who prefer not to self-inject | Patients who want a single larger dose |
NMN and NR are supplements that the body can convert into NAD+. They are different products from NAD+ itself, and research on one does not prove the effects of another. Ask exactly what your product contains.
Injections can cause redness or stinging at the site. During an IV, NAD+ is given slowly because a fast infusion can cause chest tightness, nausea, cramping or flushing; these usually ease when the rate is slowed. FDA has received reports of reactions to injectable NAD+ products, including severe chills, shaking, vomiting and fatigue, and has warned about poor-quality compounding ingredients. That is why we use a licensed pharmacy.
NAD+ pricing is the same at both offices and depends on the route. At-home and in-office shots can be bought as a monthly package, often 4 doses a month. The IV is priced as a single, longer visit. Payment plans are available through Cherry, CareCredit and Klarna; contact the office about the Klarna option.
Care is led by Dr. Eileen Rivera Jimenez, DNP, FNP. Your consultation is a place to ask questions, understand the options, and decide on the next step together.
